About Us

Hello. We are Patty and Tom Bithell.

We are lifelong Idahoans – I am from Meridian and Tom from Pocatello – and have a lot of pride in being from the Great State of Idaho.

We met in 1992 while working at the Red Lion Riverside in Boise. Tom was a Bellman and I was the Gift Shop Manager. A year after our first date we were married.

Tom had been coming to Island Park his whole life and couldn’t wait to show it to me. He said, “McCall and Cascade are nice, but wait until you see Island Park!”

Tom was right, I fell in love with Island Park. And as the years went by we made plans to someday have our own cabin in Island Park. In 2013 the dream became a reality when we bought our first cabin.

Our next dream on the list was to someday live in Island Park and we started taking steps to make that possible some day when we retired. Well fate played a role in speeding that up. Things were changing at Micron where Tom had worked for over 20 years and in 2019 they offered him an early retirement voluntary severance. We saw the chance and took it and we moved to Island Park on August 31, 2019 – two days after Tom’s last day of work.
Now we are living in Island Park full-time and loving it. We are working hard and hustling every day to build our own business and make a living.
